Blogging by Teachers for Teachers

I am a teacher with nearly 30 years’ experience of classroom teaching. I am blogging to give back a little something to the teaching community.

The intention of my blogs is to be supportive, observational, interesting and at times with a wry slant. Hopefully there will be some useful tips, I have learned along the way sprinkled in that might also benefit others.

The aim is that my blogs are not ‘preachy’, or coming from an expert, or someone who has the answers. Rather the reverse…it’s from a teacher who is always learning and indeed doesn’t know all the answers, but strives to implement best practice and who is always open to learning and improving. Perhaps the blog will provoke thoughts; prompt debate and stimulate discussion.

These are just my personal observations, but I hope they may be a little ray of light for teachers doing the best they can in all our schools on a daily basis.

So, here it is…‘blogs by a teacher, for teachers…’
